What is venetian plaster?Venetian plaster is a term for traditional Italian plaster finishes that imitate the characteristics of marble or stone. In addition to its beautiful aesthetic, Venice Plaster offers moisture resistance, sound absorption and great scratch resistance.

Can venetian plaster be applied to wet areas?Yes, most venetian plaster can be used in wet areas as they are breathable and do not retain moisture. The application and process may different, give us a call to confirm or find out more specific to your project. We will be happy to help.

Is it possible to apply venetian plaster over gyprock or plaster?Yes, absolutly. Venetian plaster and other plaster finishes can be applied over most materials, however if you are unsure of what you may have or what you need for your project, we offer a complimentary consultation, please get it touch to find out more.

What colours are available?Every colour is an option, we can colour match or provide you with recomendations. If you would like to consider a certain colour before proceeding, you may order sample boards. We can colour match Dulux paints and more. Get in touch to find out more.

Are the products you use, eco-frindly?Yes! Silkroad Venetian Plaster use uses Italian eco-friendly stuccos. There are 100% eco-friendly versions of our natural lime-based plasters excluding all chemical additives in favour of natural ingredients.

Do you offer warranty?We are confident in our crafstmanship and quality, we offer a 5 year warranty on all our projects.
